2. Scope
These notices explain how personal data is processed when you visit our website, contact us, apply for a position or use remote support.
3. IONOS hosting and WebAnalytics
Our website and email are hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When a page is requested, the server receives necessary connection data, including your IP address. IONOS states that web hosting processes the requested page or file, referring page, browser, operating system, device type, access time and an immediately anonymised IP address. IONOS specifies a retention period of eight weeks for web hosting data.
We use IONOS WebAnalytics for visitor statistics and technical improvements. According to IONOS, WebAnalytics uses no cookies and anonymises IP addresses immediately after transmission. The legal basis for the preceding processing of personal data is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in a secure, functional website suited to visitors’ needs.

4. Contact by email or telephone
We use IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, for business email communication. Incoming and outgoing emails and associated technical connection data are processed through this provider.
When you contact us, we process the contact details you provide and your enquiry to handle your request. For contractual enquiries or pre-contractual steps you request, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is responding to you.
The contact form sends your name, email address, selected topic and message to our web server over an encrypted connection. The enquiry is then forwarded via IONOS mail services to info@htcomputer.de. The application does not keep a permanent copy in a website database. The message is processed in the business mailbox.
Providing your details is voluntary. Without the information needed to respond, we may be unable to handle your enquiry. Enquiries must be deleted once resolved, unless statutory retention duties or necessary legal enforcement reasons apply.
Our business emails remain with IONOS and are not automatically forwarded to other email providers. We delete completed enquiries when they are no longer needed for their purpose. Statutory retention duties for business and accounting records and necessary retention to establish or defend claims remain applicable.
You may optionally provide your phone number and address in the contact form. These details are not required to send a message and are used only to handle your enquiry.
5. Cookies, local storage and external content
No additional analytics or advertising services are used beyond IONOS WebAnalytics. Images and fonts are loaded locally. The selected language is carried in the page address, without cookies or Local Storage. Display settings apply only to the open page. The protected administration area uses an essential session cookie for login and protection against abusive requests. It is not needed by public visitors. Sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity; the session cookie expires no later than the end of the browser session.
Google Maps is linked, not embedded. Only by following the link do you leave this website and access Google's service, where that provider's privacy information applies.
To protect the contact form and login, time-limited security identifiers and failed or rate-limited access attempts are processed. A secret key converts the IP address into an identifier that is not directly readable. These identifiers expire within one hour and are cleaned up on the next relevant access. Form security identifiers prevent repeated sending for up to one hour. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: protection against spam and unauthorised access. The essential administration cookie serves the expressly requested login (section 25(2)(2) TDDDG).
Before sending a contact enquiry, we check a short calculation on our own server. Your answer and a time-limited security identifier are transmitted for this purpose. No external CAPTCHA service is used. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protection against automated spam enquiries.
6. AnyDesk downloads and remote support
Before a remote-support download is released, we collect your name, residential address, phone number and email address. We also record the time, operating system, language, accepted version of the usage and price information and your voluntary recording choice. This prepares the service you requested (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and documents your confirmations (Article 6(1)(f)); voluntary recording relies on Article 6(1)(a). Required details are necessary for release through this form. You may alternatively contact us by phone.
The download request is stored securely on our IONOS hosting and sent to our business IONOS mailbox. Only authorised H.T.Computer staff have access. The administration record is deleted on the next access after 30 days. Related email copies are deleted once the enquiry and any retention purpose have ended. Actual order and invoice records are retained separately for the applicable legal periods. The download permission lasts ten minutes. This form also uses a maths question checked solely on our server and time-limited security tokens for spam protection.
Windows and Mac installation files are offered as downloads from the web server. Downloading does not start remote support or grant access to your device. Contact us before remote support. A session is agreed separately and authorised by you.
When running the software and during a session, device and connection information, visible screen contents and possibly transferred files may be processed, depending on settings. This is separate from simply visiting the website.
We use AnyDesk by AnyDesk Software GmbH, Türlenstraße 2, 70191 Stuttgart, for remote support. Processing to fulfil the support order is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. AnyDesk processes technical device and connection data to establish and operate the connection. Files are transferred only as needed for the agreed support. You may end the session at any time. Details of the provider’s own data processing and international infrastructure are available in AnyDesk’s privacy policy.
Recording remote support sessions
Recording takes place only with your prior voluntary consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you do not agree, we provide remote support without recording. You can withdraw consent at any time for the future by phone or email using the contact details above. Recording will then stop and any existing recording will be deleted unless a legal obligation prevents this. Processing before withdrawal remains lawful.
We record remote support sessions and store the recordings at H.T.Computer for 14 days. They are used solely to review and, if necessary, correct the work performed. The recordings are then deleted. We inform you about the recording when arranging support by phone, before the remote session begins. The phone call itself is not recorded. Recordings may contain information visible on your screen during the session. Please close confidential documents and unnecessary programs beforehand.
7. Your data protection rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access to your personal data (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (16), erasure (17), restriction of processing (18) and portability (20). You may withdraw consent at any time for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Right to object
Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you may object at any time under Article 21 on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object at any time to processing for direct marketing.
To exercise your rights, contact us using the details above.
8. Right to complain
You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you normally live, work or suspect an infringement. In Baden-Württemberg, this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.

9. Automated decisions
The supplied website code does not perform automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, or profiling.
10. Job applications
If you apply by email, we process your contact details and application documents to decide on employment, training or an internship (section 26(1) BDSG). Only those handling the application have access. Following rejection, documents are generally deleted two months after the procedure ends; longer retention is limited to necessary legal defence or your voluntary consent. If hired, necessary information becomes part of the personnel records.
